We offer American Sign Language interpretation throughout Ontario. We also offer French to LSQ interpretation. We have recently added CART services (Communication Access Real-time Translation) which can be provided remotely or on-site. Real-time event captioning, also known as CART, provides access for deaf and hard of hearing participants attending events.  Real-time Captioners offer immediate, verbatim, voice-to-text translation via real-time captioning. CART services are available for reporting, conventions, conferences, classes, public hearings, presentations, lectures, meetings, proceedings and more.

SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETING RATES & GUIDELINES

Interpreting rates are $60/hr unless they are technical in nature and require extra prep work. *Additional costs for parking reimbursement may apply.

A two hour minimum will be charged for all interpreting assignments.

Any assignment longer than 1.5 hours in duration requires 2 interpreters.

If a request for an interpreter is made with less than 48 hours notice a last minute fee will be added to our standard rates.

SPECIALTY SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETING ASSIGNMENTS:

Any assignments requiring a special skill such as Deaf-Blind intervention, French, Italian or Spanish translation will be charged at a higher per hour rate due to the specialized knowledge and preparation required to provide the best interpretation possible.

TRAVEL SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETING ASSIGNMENTS:

We offer sign language interpreters available for travel outside of the Southern Ontario area. Travel costs including hotel, flight, meals, gas, parking, vehicle, tolls, etc. will be charged to the client in addition to the hourly rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be billed at the quoted rate for the first day of the assignment.
